Location


The village of Villanueva del Rosario, where the Cortijo “La Cañada del Sacristán” is situated, north east of Malaga (Spain), is perfectly placed for access to the A92/M motorway, with its many interesting places along the route. There are two main airports within easy each, Malaga at 40 km. and Granada at 70 km., at 105 km. there is the Olympic ski resort of Sierra Nevada, 20 km. to Antequera,13 km. to Archidona and 45 km to the famous Costa del Sol beaches.


Situated in a crossroads in the heart of Andalusia, villages such as Cordoba and Seville are near to the Cortijo (an excursion for a day).


Access:

You must take exit number 16 of the main road A.92/M. Malaga-Granada.


Drive past the entrance to the REPSOL service station, then continue towards “El Brosque”, after 2,3 km. approx. you will find a sign indicating the direction of “Cortijo C.R. Cañada del Sacristan”. Take this track to the main entrance of the private country estate (1,1 km.)
